Stumps - Day 1
Welegedara to Cowan, OUT, Sri Lanka breakthrough! Cowan is gone looking to pull, he seemed to be a touch late playing that, hit high on the blade, and a top-edge as well, the ball swirls to mid-on, easy take there, fourth early dismissal for Cowan in the first innings in his five previous Tests

Dilshan to Warner, OUT, a wicket from nowhere, a run-out just a minute before lunch, Warner gets forward and pushes the ball firmly towards short cover, he started out before realising that there wasn't time for a single, Hughes had already committed and was steaming down, Mathews had loads of time to lob the ball towards the non-striker's end, Warner has thrown it away

Welegedara to Hughes, OUT, no century for Hughes, Welegedara has him bowled, short of length ball outside off, that came back a touch, there was a gap between bat and pad, an inside-edge and that ball crashes into the stumps, hang on, is that a no-ball? no, it isn't, just gets a bit of boot behind the line, Welegedara gets his third of the day
FOW: 18/1 Cowan, 97/2 Warner, 183/3 Watson, 198/4 Hughes.
